LogMeIn Expands UK Operations, Opens New London Office


LONDON and WOBURN, Mass., July 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A year after launching UK operations and building on its recent global and UK growth, LogMeIn, Inc. (Nasdaq:LOGM) has opened a new London office to expand its presence in the market. During the past year, strong demand for remote access, support and collaboration services resulted in thousands of UK businesses and individuals adopting LogMeIn's technology, including recently announced customers Jamie Oliver, Ltd. and BSkyB, as well as two of the UK's top three mobile operators. 

The UK ranks among the top countries in the world in tech spending and mobile adoption. In 2011, comScore reported that smartphone adoption in the UK – already one of the top two European markets in smartphone subscribers – is now outpacing the US, Japan, Germany, France, Spain and Italy in year-over-year growth.1 And Forrester Research recently reported that the UK ranks among the top five countries in the world in annual information and communications technology spending, following the US, China, Japan, and Germany, respectively.2
