Canadian North Reduces Iqaluit/Ottawa Fares

Providing Savings of Up to 14% on Their Lowest Year-Round Fares

YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES--(Marketwire - July 15, 2011) - Canadian North has reduced fares on Iqaluit flights to and from Ottawa, providing customers better rates on their lowest year-round fares.

The new rates will offer a reduction by 14% on their lowest year-round fare, and 7% on their next fare. By lowering these airfares, there is less of a jump to the next level should the lowest fare not be available when customers are looking to book their travel.

"We've been working on our fare structure for some time now," states Lorraine Bonner, Vice President of Scheduled Service at Canadian North, "and are pleased to offer this price reduction in the Iqaluit/Ottawa marketplace."

The airline reduced fares in other markets that they serve earlier this year, reducing the gaps between year-round fare levels.
