Dorman Releases Volume II of Its Service Dealer Guide and Over 100 Formerly Dealer Only Parts This Month

COLMAR, PA--(Marketwire - Jul 22, 2011) - Dorman Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM) has released Volume II of its Service Dealer Guide featuring formerly "Dealer Only" parts that Technicians can now source from their preferred Aftermarket Parts Supplier -- instead of the Dealer.

To get your free copy of the guide visit www.dormanguide.com/join1.html.

The Guide features parts that Dorman supplies as complete kits, which save time and money by including all of the components needed to complete the repair. For example, the Driveshaft Support Bearing Kit for 2002-2007 GM VUEs and Equinox includes the U-Joint, U-Joint Clips and Driveshaft C-Clip.

Dorman is also keeping pace with late-model engine management technologies such as Variable Valve Timing components. The Variable Valve Timing Solenoid featured in the Guide fits 2002-2010 GM Trailblazers and Envoys and controls Camshaft timing.

In addition to the Service Dealer Guide, Dorman released over 100 new parts this month including remanufactured Climate Control Modules, Upper Shock Mount Kits, 4WD Vacuum Solenoids and Window Regulators. Window Regulator replacements peak during the summer months and Dorman offers the most applications in the Aftermarket including exclusive applications that were previously only available from the Dealer.
