BETHESDA, Md., July 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EagleBank (Nasdaq:EGBN), today announced that Ryan Riel will serve as a Team Leader in the Bank's growing Commercial Real Estate Lending division. Riel will report to Antonio F. (Tony) Marquez, Executive Vice President, Chief Real Estate Lender for the Bank.
Riel has been on EagleBank's lending team for over 10 years, and instrumental in creating the growth of the Bank's Commercial Real Estate Lending portfolio. In this new capacity, Riel will lead a team of experienced lenders to provide customers with an even greater concentration of attention, service and responsiveness. Active in the community, Riel serves as a Board Member for The Children's Inn at The National Institutes of Health. Additionally, he is a willing volunteer and active participant in many of EagleBank's community sponsorships and fundraising endeavors. He, his wife and two daughters live in North Bethesda, MD.
