Juniper Announces Plans for Government and Municipal Markets

BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 4, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Juniper Group, Inc. (OTCBB:JUNP) announced today that its wholly-owned telecommunications subsidiary has been afforded the opportunity to expand its customer base to include government and municipality work throughout the Midwest and has been invited to its first bid in this sector. Initial projects have been identified, and appropriately trained and certified teams are being assembled.

Vlado P. Hreljanovic, President and CEO, said, "It is wonderful to be able to add governments and municipalities at all differing levels to our client roster. With the advent of the new raising of the debt ceiling, the company was now able to submit bids for government jobs that had been on hold pending the final vote from Congress. We look forward to becoming a 'go-to' subcontractor in this important and burgeoning arena."
