CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 12, 2011) - CanAsia Financial Inc. (the "Company" or "CanAsia") (TSX VENTURE:CNA) announces that its board of directors approved the granting of 4,000,000 stock options to directors, employees and advisors to the Company on August 11, 2011, subject to regulatory and TSX Venture Exchange approval.
The options were issued at an exercise price of $0.13 per share and have a five year term, expiring on August 11, 2016. The options vest as to one third on each of December 31, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
CanAsia is a company listed and trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, symbol CNA.
