Ms. Brown recently joined Garda from Littler Mendelson, one the largest U.S. national labor and employment law firms, where she served as the Managing Shareholder of the Miami office and a member of the Firm's Board of Directors. Before joining Littler, she worked at Jackson Lewis LLP, where she specialized in labor and employment law. She began her career as a partner at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell P.A., where she co-chaired the firm's labor and employment practice.

While at Littler, Ms. Brown steered the Firm to attain certification as a 'Gold Standard Firm' from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum and achieved a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2011 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey. She has lectured on a myriad employment related topics and regularly counseled and trained employers regarding employment law issues.
