Ms. Brown recently joined Garda from Littler Mendelson, one the largest U.S. national labor and employment law firms, where she served as the Managing Shareholder of the Miami office and a member of the Firm's Board of Directors. Before joining Littler, she worked at Jackson Lewis LLP, where she specialized in labor and employment law. She began her career as a partner at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell P.A., where she co-chaired the firm's labor and employment practice.

While at Littler, Ms. Brown steered the Firm to attain certification as a 'Gold Standard Firm' from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum and achieved a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2011 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey. She has lectured on a myriad employment related topics and regularly counseled and trained employers regarding employment law issues.

Ms. Brown has received numerous recognition awards throughout her career, including "AV" attorney rating - the highest available rating by Martindale-Hubble for legal ability and professional ethics; Honors Registry for "Women of Excellence" 2008-2009 from the National Association of Professional & Executive Women. She was ranked among the State's Top Lawyers every year from 2007by the South Florida Legal Guide. Ms. Brown is a graduate of J.D., Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL, and has earned a B.A. degree from Stetson University in Deland, FL. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Florida in 1990 and is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, Labor and Employment Section and the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.
