Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust Announces August 2011 Distribution

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 16, 2011) - Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust ("CREIT") (TSX:REF.UN) today announced its August 2011 monthly distribution in the amount of 12.00 cents per unit (C$1.44 annualized). The August distribution will be payable on September 15, 2011 to Unitholders of record August 31, 2011.
