OXNARD, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 18, 2011) - The New Orleans Saints are coming to Oxnard, CA for a one-week training camp August 21-27 at the pristine Residence Inn by Marriott at River Ridge. Flying in to Oxnard after their pre-season match-up against Houston on Saturday, the Saints will maintain their afternoon schedule beginning Monday, August 22 on the River Ridge fields. Practice sessions will be open to the public daily from 4 to 6:30 p.m. through Friday, August 26.

The announcement came last week that Coach Sean Payton would be returning to the Residence Inn by Marriott, this time as head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Payton's last training camp session at the accommodating Oxnard, CA long-term stay hotel was in 2004 and 2005 as assistant coach with the Dallas Cowboys.
