The complaint alleges that during the class period, Juniper and certain of its officers and directors issued misleading statements assuring investors that the Company was well positioned to deliver against its long-term model of 20 percent or higher revenue growth and 25 percent or higher operating margin. Defendants failed to disclose negative trends in Juniper's business, including technical issues with certain of its products, turnover in its sales force, and increased competition in the marketplace. On July 26, 2011, Juniper issued a press release acknowledging disappointing financial results for the second quarter of 2011 and also lowered its revenue guidance for the full year to an estimated growth of between 12 and 14 percent.
