NetCom Learning's Success Brings the Corporation to the 2011 Inc. 500|5000 List of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America

This is the second year the IT training and learning company has earned the honor of being named among this elite group

New York, NY, Aug. 25, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. 500 has just released its 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, naming NetCom Learning, the premier IT and business training solutions and learning company, among them. This is the second year that NetCom Learning has earned this achievement, having first been named to the list in 2008.

NetCom Learning has been considered the leader in IT and business-training solutions by companies, individuals and government agencies who value the role learning plays in personal and professional advancement. NetCom Learning has added exceptional instructors and support staff, expanded its project offerings and is projected to grow by 25 percent this year.

In fact, in July NetCom Learning saw the highest sales over previous years in what is typically a slower sales month. The company earned 18% more revenue than the previous month of June, booked revenue of 19% more than the previous month, and boasted a collection rate that is 65% up from a historical average of 50%. The company has continued to see great gains, even in an economy that has challenged other companies.

NetCom Learning Chairman and CEO Russell Sarder said it’s an honor to earn the Inc. 5000 award but it’s especially exciting to earn it for a second time. He said he owes the achievement to his company’s steadfast commitment to the goal of creating a learning movement.

"Being named to the Inc. 500/5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America is an honor but it also reaffirms that NetCom Learning is reaching its goals of cultivating an environment that fosters a passion for lifelong learning," Sarder said.

NetCom Learning continues to make strides in reaching that goal by offering several onsite locations, Live Online Training, free webinars, and Boot Camps. In all, NetCom Learning provides more than 1,000 IT and "soft skills" business training courses, such as leadership skills and team building, to more than 23,000 corporate clients, government agencies and individual students.

The company is also focusing on several major corporate initiatives, including developing a 24/7 TV learning channel focused on IT and business education, and marketing NetCom Learning’s proprietary software, which facilitates the running of a technical training program. Sarder expects these initiatives could be accelerated with an influx of outside capital. To help facilitate those growth plans the company just hired a new general manager to direct NetCom Learning’s ambitious, multi-faceted growth plan. Sarder estimates that NetCom Learning will triple or even quadruple revenues quickly with access to funding from new investors.

This is the 30th Annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, which will be held in Washington, D.C. The award is a special honor considering that there are nearly 7 million private employer-based companies in the United States and only 5000 of them make the list. The elite group of companies that have been named to the list during the last 30 years has included Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle and Zappos.com.
