Truck deliveries in July 2011

Total deliveries from the Volvo Group's truck operations in July
amounted to 16,898 vehicles. This was an increase of 18% compared with
the year-earlier period.

Volvo Group

Total deliveries by market for the Volvo Group's truck operations (Volvo
Trucks, Mack, Renault Trucks, UD Trucks and Eicher):

Volvo Trucks

Volvo Trucks' deliveries in July rose by 31%, compared with the
year-earlier period. Delivery increases were noted in most of the
leading markets.

Deliveries in Europe totaled 3,121 trucks in July, up 40% compared with
July 2010. Key markets such as the UK and Germany reported increases of
31 and 19%, respectively. The trend for truck deliveries in Eastern
Europe remained positive, particularly the Russian market where
deliveries in July rose a full 178% year-on-year. As a whole, the number
of deliveries in Eastern Europe rose 115% in July, compared with July
2010.

In South America, high demand continued and deliveries in July increased
41% to 2,100 trucks, compared with July 2010. In the heavy segment Volvo
Trucks has a leading market position year to date.

In North America, deliveries in July rose by 49% to 1632 vehicles,
despite some disruptions due to production component shortages at the
New River Valley plant.

Mack

Mack deliveries in July totaled 1,076 vehicles, up 42% (vs. 758)
compared with the year-earlier period but impacted by some disruptions
due to production component shortages. Despite ongoing low demand for
heavy-duty construction trucks, demand remained reasonably strong for
the highly fuel efficient Mack Pinnacle highway models and the
industry-leading Mack TerraPro refuse models.

Renault Trucks

Renault Trucks' deliveries rose by 15% in July compared with the
year-earlier period. Sales of light duty vehicles increased by 72%
during the month, while Medium and Heavy Duty vehicles were slightly
below last year.

In Western Europe deliveries increased by 30% while deliveries to
Eastern Europe rose by 57%.

Sales to markets in Turkey and Russia rose significantly compared to
last year.

UD Trucks

Deliveries from UD Trucks in July totaled 1,987 units, a decrease by 25
%.

In Asia, the number of deliveries was 1,385 units, a decrease by 34 %.

In Japan, the number of deliveries was 714 units, down 44% following the
end of manufacturing in January of light-duty trucks commissioned by
Nissan Motor. Excluding deliveries to Nissan Motor deliveries in Japan
increased by 8.5% compared to the year-earlier period.
