e-storm international Makes Inc. 500|5000 List Fourth Year in a Row

Ranks No. 933 on the 2011 Inc. 500|5000 with Three-Year Sales Growth of 309% among America's fastest-growing private companies

San Francisco, CA, Sept. 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine has recently ranked e-storm international on its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

Coming in at NO. 993, up from 1,037 in 2010, e-storm was among more than 20,000 companies that compete to be included in the list. It's the highest rank for the San Francisco marketing agency since it first landed on the list in 2008, and has been on the list four years in a row.

"It’s no secret to anyone that over the last two years the economy has been affected," said William Gaultier, CEO of e-storm. "Yet, e-storm international is happy to know we not only made the list for the 4th year in a row, but increased our last year's ranking. A great pat on the back goes to my teams' and partners’ hard work."

The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America’s independent entrepreneurs who also include Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane, makers of the Rabbit corkscrew, among other prominent brands.

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies like e-storm international to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is," says Inc. magazine Editor Jane Berentson.

(Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
