Sustainable Energy Ships Additional 60 Units to AZGARD Solar in Ontario

Ontario Market Resuming Growth with 200 MW Backlog of OPA Approved Projects

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2011) - Sustainable Energy Technology Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:STG) ("Sustainable Energy" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has shipped an additional 60 units plus balance of systems components to AZGARD Solar for use in AZGARD's Sun Ranger Solar Energy Kits for the Ontario microFIT market.

"After some early bumps, the Ontario microFIT market is resuming its growth with average installations increasing to approximately 6MW per month," said Michael Carten CEO of Sustainable Energy. "We expect this trend to continue with the recent announcement that conditional contracts will now be freely transferable to different sites in the Province circumventing localized grid capacity issues."

The backlog of contracts approved by the Ontario Power Authority is in excess of 200MW (an estimated $80 - $100 million value). The application backlog with the OPA for contract approval represents an additional 123 MW with new applications accelerating to an average of 20MW per month.

Sustainable Energy's Made in Ontario, inverter technology is ideally suited for the microFIT market enables up to 30% more yield than conventional inverters in this application.
