RIB Software AG: large order for iTWO 5D Business Suite in Asia
STUTTGART, 14 September 2011. RIB Software AG is pleased to announce that
on 13.09.2011 an agreement on an enterprise licence for iTWO 5D Business
Suite was signed with Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, Malaysia. The overall
order value for licences, services and maintenance is 2.27 million US
dollars. As planned according to the agreement, software licences worth USD
1.5 million will be delivered and settled with an effect on the operating
result yet in financial year 2011.
Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd is a 100% subsidiary of Sunway Berhad, which
has been listed on the Malaysian stock market since 23 August 2011. The
Sunway Group is one of the most successful growing enterprises in Malaysia.
In 2010 it generated revenues of USD 1.0 billion and an EBT of 23% from
project development, trade, the hotel business and building materials. The
service portfolio of Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd ranges from civil
engineering, technical building equipment and geotechnical solutions to
building material production and building logistics. With its many awards -
such as the Industry Excellence Award or Malaysia Business Award 2010 and
Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2009, Sunway Construction
occupies a leading position in Asia and the Middle East. It now wishes to
further expand this position by using iTWO 5D Business Suite.
'After successfully carrying out the proof of concept (Phase 1) for iTWO,
we succeeded in winning over the first international building group in the
form of Sunway out of currently about 30 other international iTWO customers
(in Phase 1) for company-wide use of iTWO 5D Business Suite. Sunway
perceives high added value potential through the use of model-based, fully
integrated project processing with iTWO 5D Business Suite,' explained
