He was also founder and Senior Vice President/Chief Technology Officer at uPromise Investments, a leading administrator of 529 college savings plans, which he grew from inception to over $20B in assets and the second largest manager of 529 plans in the country. Earlier in his career, Gaddipati served as a Chief Architect at Fidelity Investments where he built a middle platform called Maui which in still in use after twelve years.
