Govan Brown Joins the Fight Against Cancer

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 21, 2011) - Govan Brown put on their boxing gloves to help the fight against women's cancers at this year's Bennett Beach Bash held at the Balmy Beach Club and hosted by Bennett Designs on Thursday, June 9, 2011. The event included silent auctions, beach dodgeball tournaments, a BBQ dinner and live entertainment, presented by Govan Brown employees.

The 460 people in attendance watched, as Govan Brown employees sang on stage to entertain the crowds. A generous $30,000 was raised and all monies were donated to the Sunnybrook Hospital Odette Cancer Centre, a treatment facility whose program is ranked 6^th in North America and specializes in research and a full spectrum of patient care.
