Askar Tuganbaev, Internet Project Development Director of CTC Media, Head of "Videomore" project: "We continue to develop social Internet services and we recently added a "smart" friend search and have provided users with the ability to recommend shows. We are also actively working on the creation of a gaming platform so that shows can be watched interactively. We are preparing for the launch of regional fan clubs for our shows and are testing paid services for accessing premium content from majors and making programming available in catch-forward format (i.e. before it appears on air). A new social function has also been added to "Videomore" mobile phone applications – users can now discuss videos and watch the shows recommended by their friends. "Videomore" widgets are also being launched on all the main connected TV platforms and on the most widespread set-top boxes."

In September 2011, the number of videos viewed on "Videomore" grew at a record rate and the number of unique visitors per day reached a peak of 300,000 people. Furthermore, the catch-ups of the new TV series "Physics or Chemistry", which premiered on the CTC channel at the end of August, have now reached similar levels of popularity to the hit mystic series "Boarding School" in terms of the number of viewings it has attracted, accounting for over half of the site's traffic.

The portal's content is regularly updated and the following shows recently became available for viewing online: "Margosha", "Unreal History", "Family Size", "Mosgorsmekh", "The Exes", "Style Week" and "Beauty Week". 9 titles from CTC Media's TV channels are made available on "Videomore" daily as catch-ups immediately after being aired.
