Inspired by Art Deco, POWERLAND's Designer-in-Chief, Franseco Turchi spared no effort in creating new designs for the handbags' handles, sashes, crosses and knots. In addition, the new collection was designed to go beyond its classic embossed pattern, emphasizing the unique personality of the modern Chinese woman, harmonizing accessories and leather, pattern variations and golden lettering. The collection also features additional Chinese design elements like the silhouette of eight horses, a familiar motif in traditional Chinese painting. An additional glossy effect applied to some handbag editions, an especially glamorous touch, appeals to many Chinese women. Perfect integration of Chinese and Italian Style The face of POWERLAND, Michele Lee, a well-known actress in China and former Miss China, presented the fashion show with Li Ai, a Chinese supermodel. As fashion icons, they shared their understanding of 2012 fashion trends with Mr. Turchi. Turchi, who has also made great contributions to international fashion brands such as GUCCI, Ferragamo, Fendi and TOD'S, was in town from Italy with the latest international leather design trends in toe.
