EAST GREENWICH, RI--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2011) - The Woodhaven Production Company proudly announces that the much anticipated red carpet premiere of Inkubus, was a HUGE success with thousands of horror fans on hand. Inkubus is a horror film starring Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy vs. Jason, Hatchet), William Forsythe (The Devil's Rejects, Halloween), Joey Fatone (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Cooler), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend At Bernie's, Death Becomes Her), and Michelle Ray Smith (Salt).

Inkubus, which tells the story of a skeleton crew working the final shift of a closing police station, was penned by Carl Dupre of Hellraiser: Hellseeker and Hellraiser: Hellworld, and Glenn Ciano (Infected), the director of Inkubus. In the film, the night takes a gruesome turn when a demon named Inkubus (Robert Englund) calmly walks in with the severed head of a murdered girl. He allows himself to be restrained and begins to confess his litany of crimes, but it soon becomes clear he has only come to the station to spill more blood. The officers unlucky enough to be present are fated to participate in and witness Inkubus' crowning achievement of murder and mayhem.

The premiere took place at the DCU Convention Center in Worcester, MA on Saturday, October 15 at 9pm during Rock and Shock. Due to the huge demand, the venue had to be increased from 250 seats to over 500 still leaving thousands of fans in the dark.

October 15th was a night of mayhem, horror, celebration and entertainment, featuring the members of the Inkubus cast. The event was nothing short of spectacular with an exclusive VIP guest list and after party, as well as a few gruesome surprises. The event brought a taste of Hollywood to the people of Massachusetts and New England and set the stage for Inkubus and The Woodhaven Production Company as a force in the region.

Producer Chad A. Verdi stated, "Words can't describe how great of a night we had, seeing thousands of fans line up to have a chance to see this film was overwhelming. So much so that I am planning the prequel, titled Inkubus: Demons Never Die for a 2013 filming date with Robert Englund returning."

Inkubus will be released in theaters on October 28, 2011 throughout the country, with locations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, Florida, Wisconsin, Arizona, Washington, and California.
