MIKE FM traces its roots to CKDG, a multicultural commercially licensed radio station serving the Greater Montreal Area – with its transmitter and antenna on the Mount-Royal. Founded by John and Hélène Daperis, the station has come a long way since its first broadcast in 1957 on CHRS (St-Jean d'Iberville). Seven years later, John Daperis had created his own radio station targeting Montreals' Greek Community, CHCR. Today, daughter Marie Griffiths is the current General Director of this radio group now consisting of MIKE FM and CKIN FM, continuing the family's rich history in broadcasting.

MIKE FM broadcasts shows in English, French, Greek, Armenian, Russian, Hungarian and Chinese, while CKIN FM brings to the airwaves content in French, Spanish, Creole, Arabic, Romanian, Punjab, Hindi and Bengali. / 105.1 FM
