Yorbeau Provides Update on Drilling at its Rouyn Project

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2011) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. ("Yorbeau" or the "Company") (TSX:YRB.A) is pleased to provide an update of the drilling campaign currently in progress on its Rouyn property. Since April 14, 2011, Yorbeau has completed 24 holes for a total of 14,331 metres to test mineralized structures in rocks of the Piché Group in proximity of the world famous Cadillac Break.

Augmitto Block

Nine holes were drilled on the Augmitto block and results have been either published in a May 31, 2011 press release or incorporated in a resources estimate published on August 23, 2011 and supported by a NI 43-101 compliant technical report available on SEDAR and on the website of the Company.

Cinderella Block

A total of fifteen holes have been completed on the Cinderella block where drilling is still in progress. The piercing points of the drill holes are shown on the attached longitudinal section (http://file.marketwire.com/release/cinderella.pdf). All drill holes since April 2011 intersected the mineralized zones within rocks of the Piché Group and returned gold values. In addition, some of the holes also intersected the Footwall Zone in the Timiskaming sediments. Typically, holes in the Cinderella sector have also regularly intersected at shallow depths networks of quartz tourmaline veins containing gold in volcanic rocks of the Blake River group (identified as B.R. in the table below) up to a few hundred metres north of the Piché Group contact. A summary of assays received to date is presented in the table below:

Although true width of the mineralized zones cannot be established with accuracy given the large spacing between holes, it is estimated that it may represent about 70% of core length.

Yorbeau's technical team is currently doing field work to assess the potential of the new gold zones in the Blake River volcanics just north of the Cadillac Break where neighbour Richmont Mines has recently announced positive exploration results in a similar setting about 7 kilometres to the west of Yorbeau's Rouyn property. Yorbeau also anticipates beginning drilling on the Lake Gamble claim block to the east of Cinderella in November and complete around 10,000 metres of drilling by early spring 2012. All drilling on the Cinderella and Lake Gamble blocks will be incorporated in a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate.

Work is carried out by technical personnel of Yorbeau Resources Inc., under the supervision of Laurent Hallé, P.Geo. who has reviewed and approved the content of this release. He is a qualified person (as defined by National Instrument 43-101) and has more than 31 years of experience in mineral exploration.

Samples are analyzed at AGAT Laboratories in Sudbury, Ontario. All samples are analyzed by standard fire assay. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are re-analyzed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of inserting blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assay laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.
