Neo Technology Strengthens Executive Team
To support its rapid growth, Neo also announced it has hired Rickard Öberg, developer of JBoss, and technology veteran Lars Nordwall as the company's COO. Rod Johnson, SpringSource Founder, will join as Neo's Chairman of the Board.

• Rickard Öberg, recognized as an Oracle Java Champion, has had a long and successful career in Java technologies. In addition to his work on Neo4j, Rickard will continue to lead the Qi4j open source project which is "a framework for domain centric application development, including evolved concepts from AOP, DI and DDD."   Rod Johnson is the General Manager of the SpringSource product division of VMware. Rod conceived of and initiated the development of Spring, and has served as CEO of SpringSource since the company's inception. One of the world's leading authorities on Java and J2EE development, Rod is a member of the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee (EC). He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney.

  Lars has an outstanding track record of entrepreneurial leadership and managing diverse, fast growing businesses. Before joining Neo, Lars was SVP of Worldwide Sales at Pentaho, where he orchestrated a company turn-around with 100%+ annual booking growth as a result.
