TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2011) - Symphony Floating Rate Senior Loan Fund (TSX:SSF.UN) has received approval for a normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 357,300 class A units of the Fund representing approximately 10% of the public float of 3,573,200 class A units. The Fund may purchase up to 90,964 class A units in any 30 day period which is 2% of the 4,548,200 issued and outstanding class A units at November 11, 2011.

The units may be purchased for cancellation from November 18, 2011 to November 17, 2012 through the facilities of the TSX or other eligible alternative market and may only be purchased at a price per class A unit not exceeding the last net asset value per class A unit. The Fund believes that such purchases are in its best interest and are a desirable use of its available funds.
