PowerShares S&P 500(R) Low Volatility Portfolio (SPLV) Surpasses $600 Million in AUM


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Nov 17, 2011) - Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC, a leading global provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced today that PowerShares S&P 500® Low Volatility Portfolio (SPLV) recently surpassed $600 million in assets under management (AUM). SPLV provides investors with efficient, low cost access to an ETF portfolio of 100 stocks from the S&P 500 Index with the lowest realized volatility over the past 12 months.

The PowerShares S&P 500® Low Volatility Portfolio (SPLV) is based on the S&P 500® Low Volatility Index. The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is compiled, maintained and calculated by Standard & Poor's Financial Services LLC and consists of the 100 stocks from the S&P 500 Index with the lowest realized volatility over the past 12 months.
