MANHEIM, PA--(Marketwire - Nov 21, 2011) - Overhead bridge crane systems that require heavy material handling have a new high tech lifting companion from Harrington Hoists, Inc. In a recent interview on WVSN Reports, Bret Lussow, Business Development Sales Manager for Harrington, spoke of their new product capabilities that will bring new technologies in safety and efficiency to crane builders and material handling specialists.

"We call our new RHN Series electric wire rope hoist line the Rhino. Rhino is a great name for raw power. This series offers brains as well as brawn; our features are uncommon in any competitive line.

"The RHN Rhino features a motor management system inside the control panel that offers several major functions which include a load limiter which reduces the hazards of making over capacity lifts, the count hour meter that measures 'motor on-time,' and (PTC) positive temperature control thermal sensors for motor protection.

"Additional features are delay timers that protect the hoist motor in the event of jogging and special function relays for options such as sirens or warning lights. At Harrington, we feel our customers deserve everything; that's why the new Rhino includes a block-operated limit switch as standard equipment that is a requirement of ASME B30.16, HST-4 and CMAA. For most other manufacturers that's an option! The language of efficiency is important to our end-users.

"Harrington's new RHN Rhino offers faster speeds at higher capacities in an age when production output is the measure of success the RHN Rhino really measures up. The RHN electric wire rope hoist is our latest endeavor and we want overhead bridge crane operators to know we understand their needs. Whether it's a critical, low headroom application where a crane builder wants to build a double girder crane system, or replacing a hoist that's already in the field, Harrington has what you need."

Harrington's RHN Rhino electric wire rope hoist series is our proud new addition and is compatible with Harrington's other product lines as well. "You know what we say at Harrington," said Lussow, "Often imitated never duplicated; that's why world industry is joining our revolution!"
