Hoping for a Baby? Company Suggests a Natural Detox First

BELLINGHAM, WA--(Marketwire - Nov 21, 2011) - A new product to help couples before they start trying to conceive is being introduced by Fairhaven Health (www.fairhavenhealth.com), a leader in natural fertility solutions.

FertileDetox, a regime to cleanse the body of environmental toxins, will be available Dec. 1 at a cost of $34.95 for a one-month supply. It's the newest in a line of products formulated by a team of experts, including obstetricians, nutritionists, and naturopaths.

"FertileDetox helps promote the elimination of environmental toxins that can damage reproductive organs, decreasing fertility for both women and men," says Dr. Chris Meletis, a fertility expert and former Naturopathic Physician of the Year who helps to formulate products for Fairhaven Health. "Before actively trying to conceive, men and women should focus on creating truly fertile ground for conception by eliminating the toxins we're exposed to every day."

FertileDetox is a dietary supplement that contains vitamins, minerals, probiotics, herbs, including milk thistle and dandelion, and special ingredients such as calcium d-glucarate that support the body's own detoxification and cleansing systems. Fairhaven recommends couples begin using it three months before trying to conceive.

According to the World Health Organization, roughly one in six couples struggles with infertility and about 70 percent turn to fertility drugs or in vitro-fertilization. Fairhaven helps couples avoid that expensive and sometimes painful process through natural, safe products that have been proven effective in trials and clinical studies.

Other products include the OvaCue Fertility Monitor which accurately predicts ovulation up to 7 days in advance. FertilAid for Women includes the herb chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) which helps to restore hormonal balance and promote cycle regularity. SpermCheck Fertility is a fast, accurate and affordable at-home test to determine whether a man's sperm count is within "normal" range.
