Washington Marriott Supports Second Annual Back on My Feet "Wear Your Sneakers To Work" Day

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - Nov 22, 2011) - Washington Marriott, one of the charter sponsors for Back on My Feet's DC Chapter helped raise money last Friday, November 18th during Back on My Feet's "Wear Your Sneakers To Work" day. In an effort to promote consciousness during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, this hotel in Georgetown, DC asked all associates to wear their sneakers to work with a $5 donation to Back on My Feet and received outstanding results. Guests of this Georgetown, DC hotel were also encouraged to wear their sneakers and make a personal donation to the Back on My Feet foundation last Friday.

Back on My Feet is an organization that uses the innovative approach of running to help those experiencing homelessness find confidence, strength, self esteem and eventually self sufficiency.
