Caribbean Casino Gaming Corp. (CGAQ) Announces Joan Guzman's First Round Knockout and Brings IBF Caribbean Championship Title Home to the Dominican Republic

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Nov 22, 2011) - Caribbean Casino Gaming Corp. (PINKSHEETS: CGAQ) -- Joan Guzman had a "secret weapon" in his corner on Friday night at the Jaragua Hotel when he demolished Colombian tough guy Florencio "Chombo" Castellano with a textbook uppercut to the chin in the first round of a scheduled 12 round IBF Caribbean Championship welterweight title bout.

Former three-time former world champion Joan Guzman scored a one punch first round knockout over Florencio Castellano in a scheduled twelve round Welterweight bout in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Guzman, age 35 is making a run at a third world title and some real paydays, had some added confidence in knowing that his fists were wrapped by Rafael Garcia. You may not know Garcia's name but you know the Puebla, Mexico, native's friendly face. He's the ubiquitous trainer who wears all those Olympic and other sporting pins in his cap. No one wraps the hands of undefeated Floyd Mayweather except for Senor Garcia. Guzman staggered Castellano with a right hand shot and then put him out of his misery with a highlights reel quality right uppercut to the chin. Guzman is now 31-0-1 with eighteen knockouts.

Steve Swank, owner of Caribbean Casino Gaming Corp. (PINKSHEETS: CGAQ), also the producer of this IBF Caribbean Championship Fight in partnership with ESPN Deportes, is in talks with ESPN to schedule additional fights in the Dominican Republic. Mr. Swank is also talking about arranging a fight with Juan Manuel Marquez after the recent loss to Manny Pacquiao. Swank stated, "We are very excited about the future of boxing here in the DR and expect another great fight."

The results from the Under Card of Friday's Championship Fight are the following:

In his first fight since losing a hotly disputed world title fight, Argenis Mendez stopped late replacement Alex Perez in round two of a scheduled eight round Jr. Lightweight bout.

Mendez dropped Perez with a hard left hook in round two. Perez got to his feet only to take a pounding over the next minute and the fight was stopped.

Mendez is 19-2 with ten knockouts. Perez is now 23-43-4.

IBF Jr. Lightweight champion, Amanda Serrano remained perfect by stopping Grecia Nova after round three of a scheduled ten round bout.

Serrano dropped Nova with a combination in round one and battered her over the next two rounds before the fight was stopped.

Serrano is now 13-0-1 with nine knockouts.

Julio De Jesus remained perfect by stopping Ramon Duran in round two of a scheduled eight round Jr. Welterweight bout.

De Jesus landed a hard right that dropped Duran in round two and then finished him off with a flurry on the ropes that had the referee stop the fight.

De Jesus is now 13-0 with twelve knockouts. Duran is now 21-5.
