Elio Schiavo appointed new Chief Executive Officer of telegate AG

Planegg-Martinsried near Munich, November 29, 2011 - Elio Schiavo (47) will
be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of telegate AG, with effect from
December 1, 2011. Within the two-member management board he will now be
responsible for all business operations as well as the strategic
development of the Directory Assistance and Media business segments. Elio
Schiavo replaces the former CEO of the telegate AG, Dr. Andreas Albath, who
left the management board of the company effective from November 15, 2011.
Ralf GrüÃhaber (42) remains telegate AG's Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
'I really look forward to having the opportunity to contribute to the
further development of telegate', says Elio Schiavo. 'The company has
already an established and successful position as a local search provider,
bridging the needs of both users and SMEs. Leveraging on our employees,
brands and customer base we will continue to focus on the transformation
from a mere Directory Assistance specialist to a digital Media player.
Growth and profitability will remain the fundamental goals.'
Elio Schiavo has a deep knowledge of the European media and Internet
market. At present he is CEO of Thomson Directories Limited, London, and
will retain this position in a transition period until April 1, 2012. In
the past few years Elio Schiavo has, among other things, realigned the
media strategy, the Internet services as well as the organisation of media
sales with the UK local search specialist, repositioned the brand
thomsonlocal.com, and promoted alliances with other media and partners.
Previous assignments in Elio Schiavo's career include, among others, the
multi media local search provider Katalog A. S., located in Istanbul, and
the market-leading Italian direct marketing company Consodata S. p. A.,
Rome, where he both acted as CEO. Furthermore he also held the position of
Seat Group Business Development Director.
