Appointment of new CEO
XCounter AB (Nasdaq First North: XCT) ("XCounter" or the “Company”), a technology leader in the development and supply of specialty X-ray detectors, announces that as of today the Company appointed Fredrik Henckel as new CEO.
Mr. Henckel started in the Company April 2010 as CFO and also holds the position as COO for the subsidiary AJAT. He has more than 16 years of business experience with focus in finance, HR, and operations. Recently he also became responsible for a new sales team at AJAT focusing on industrial area.
The Company wishes to thank Mr. Mikael Strindlund for all his work over the last 3 years with the company. Mikael Strindlund put in a place a substantial and necessary restructuring, leading to a very successful turnaround, which among others included the acquisition of the subsidiary Oy AJAT Ltd, signing of a long term agreement with a global imaging Healthcare OEM partner with a potential aggregate value of up to €50m and the Artemis 3D CT mammography project.
