Eton Park Fund, L.P., Dover (Delaware), USA, informed us on 13 December
2011 pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
('WpHG') that its percentage of voting rights in Praktiker AG, Am
Tannenwald 2, D-66459 Kirkel, Germany, fell below the 3% threshold on 7
December 2011 and amounted on that day to 2.99% of the voting rights
(1734351 voting rights). No other voting rights are attributed to Eton Park
Fund, L.P. pursuant to sec. 22 WpHG.

Eton Park Associates, L.P., Dover (Delaware), USA, informed us on 13
December 2011 pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 and sec. 22 para. 1 no. 1 of the
German Securities Trading Act ('WpHG') that its percentage of voting rights
in Praktiker AG, Am Tannenwald 2, D-66459 Kirkel, Germany, fell below the
3% threshold on 7 December 2011 and amounted on that day to 2.99% of the
voting rights (1734351 voting rights). Of these voting rights 2.99%
(1734351 voting rights) are attributed to Eton Park Associates, L.P.
pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 no. 1 WpHG. Voting rights that are attributed
to Eton Park Associates, L.P. are held via the following entity which is
controlled by Eton Park Associates, L.P. and whose holdings of voting
rights amount to less than 3% in Praktiker AG:
  - Eton Park Fund, L.P.

Eton Park Associates, L.L.C., Dover (Delaware), USA, informed us on 13
December 2011 pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 and sec. 22 para. 1 no. 1 WpHG
that its percentage of voting rights in Praktiker AG, Am Tannenwald 2,
D-66459 Kirkel, Germany, fell below the 3% threshold on 7 December 2011 and
amounted on that day to 2.99% of the voting rights (1734351 voting rights).
Of these voting rights 2.99% (1734351 voting rights) are attributed to Eton
Park Associates, L.L.C. pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 no. 1 WpHG. Voting
rights that are attributed to Eton Park Associates L.L.C. are held via the
following entities which are controlled by Eton Park Associates, L.L.C. and
whose holdings of voting rights amount to less than 3% in Praktiker AG:
  - Eton Park Fund, L.P.
  - Eton Park Associates, L.P.
