December 21, 2011, Oslo, Norway - Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ("PGS" or "the Company") announces that PGS on December 20, 2011 purchased 243.000 own shares on the Oslo Stock Exchange at an average price of NOK 59,56 per share. Following the transaction PGS holds a total of 1.223.921 own shares.
The shares are purchased to be used in PGS' employee option program.
