EVN AG announces the acquisition of an additional 48,100 or 30.75%, of the
shares of EVN Bulgaria Elektrorazpredelenie AD, Plovdiv (Bulgaria), as well
as an additional 61,600 or 32.73%, of the shares of EVN Bulgaria
Elektrosnabdiavane AD, Plovdiv (Bulgaria). As a result, EVN AG holds a
total of 97.75% of the shares of EVN Bulgaria Elektrorazpredelenie AD
(previous percentage: 67%) and a total of 99.73% of the shares of EVN
Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane (previous percentage: 67%).

The minority stake in each such company was sold by the Republic of
Bulgaria in a privatization process pursuant to which the shares of such
companies were admitted to trading on the Sofia stock exchange effective as
of 6 December 2011.
