Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. Announces Director Retirement

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 30, 2011) - Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. ("CSRI" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:SPI) (OTCBB:CSPUF) announces that Rudolf Cech has advised the Corporation that he will retire as a director effective immediately to focus on his consulting and private company activities. Mr. Cech joined the CSRI Board of Directors in November 2007.

Mr. Cech has agreed to continue his relationship with the Corporation in a consulting capacity.

Commenting on Mr. Cech's retirement as a director of CSRI, George Watson, Chairman stated that "we have greatly appreciated Rudy's advice and counsel during the early development stage of the Corporation's Farrell Creek property" and he added "we are pleased that Rudy will continue in an advisory role".
