SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 19, 2012) - Today, Mochi Media announced the speakers for the fourth-annual Flash Gaming Summit (FGS), which will be held on March 4th, 2012 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. The conference will bring together leaders in the Flash gaming industry to share insights and strategies on successful game design, distribution and monetization, as their development efforts increasingly expand to social, mobile, MMO, 3D and console platforms. This year's premier sponsor is Adobe and platinum sponsors include FlashGameLicense.com and KIXEYE.

FGS is an annual event where hundreds of industry members share insights about trends and strategies. Those leading this year's discussions include speakers from CrowdStar, Adobe, Ninja Kiwi, The9, KIXEYE, and BioWare, alongside other industry executives and thought leaders.

This year's conference also marks the return of the "Mochis Award Show," which honors the best Flash games of 2011. 27 Finalists were chosen from more than 3,700 submissions for nine categories that include "Best Multiplayer Game," "Most Creative Game," "Community Choice," and more. A complete list of finalists for the Mochis can be found on the Flash Gaming Summit Awards Show page.

The results of the 2011 Flash Games Market Survey helped form the content of FGS 2012. According to the survey, nearly 60% of Flash game developers experienced an increase in both traffic and revenue in the last year. The survey also revealed that 83% of Flash game developers either create mobile games today, or plan to in the next year. The survey findings, and the content of FGS 2012, are reflected in the theme for this year's conference "Maximize Your Game."
