Sangoma to Discuss Strategic Cloud Integration at ITEXPO East

Company to Showcase Innovative Solutions That Bridge Disparate Services and Network Infrastructures

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2012) - Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE:STC), a leading provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP Communications Systems for both voice and data, will showcase its latest technologies for integrating network and communications services and applications at the ITEXPO East Conference, taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from January 31 through February 3, 2012. Sangoma will participate in multiple educational sessions at the conference, and will host a training event for its Vega family of gateway appliances. The company will exhibit a broad range of products and solutions in booth 501 throughout the Expo. Sangoma will also host the Sangoma Application Partner showcase at booth 601 during Expo hours.

Among its varied products on display will be Sangoma's Vega 5000 Media Gateway, which was recently selected by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) as Internet Telephony Product of the Year. In addition, Sangoma will show a number of gateway appliances and solutions specifically designed to simplify the integration of services and applications across TDM, IP and wireless networks for service providers and enterprises. The Sangoma Application Partner Showcase will feature applications and solutions that have been developed and deployed by select partners using Sangoma systems and technology. Among the partners participating in the showcase include several Latin and Central America-focused providers, such as DENWA, ezVoice, and inConcert distributed by Neocenter, and CudaTel in the USA.

Sangoma director of marketing Jeff Dworkin will join the panel discussion, "Cloud as a Part of Your Overall Enterprise Architecture" on Wednesday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. He will also participate in the "Capitalizing on the Potential of Cloud Services" panel discussion, scheduled for Thursday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m. In addition, Dworkin will speak at the collocated Telecom Reseller Week on Wednesday, February 1 at 5:20 p.m., presenting, "Migration Paths, Options and Strategies from TDM to IP: What Every Dealer Should Know," an informative session that provides real-world advice for meeting customer expectations in the integration of new IP-based applications and services.

Sangoma will also provide a full day of hands-on training on the Vega series of gateways for its channel partners. The January 31st session will teach participants how to configure, troubleshoot and maintain these versatile devices for mediation between IP and TDM networks, and for services that include SIP trunking, transcoding and signaling gateway applications.
