Media Advisory: Ken Georgetti to Attend London Rally to Support Electro-Motive/Caterpillar Workers

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2012) - Ken Georgetti, President of the Canadian Labour Congress, will participate in a support rally in London, Ontario on Saturday, January 21 for workers locked out by Electro-Motive/Caterpillar.

The company locked out workers at its London-based diesel train plant on New Year's Day in an attempt to slash benefits and cut wages in half.

The Day of Action is being organized by the Canadian Auto Workers, with support from the London and District Labour Council, the Ontario Federation of Labour and the CLC. Georgetti will be available for comment to the media.
