Octopus Second AIM VCT plc announces that on 20 January 2012 the Company purchased for cancellation 78,095 Ordinary shares at a price of 55.0p per share.

Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company now consists of 42,291,093 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.01p each, with voting rights. The Company holds no shares in Treasury.
