Homeland Energy Group Announces Notice of Change of Auditor


TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2012) - Homeland Energy Group Ltd. (TSX:HEG) ("Homeland" or the "Company") wishes to announce that effective January 19, 2012, the board of directors of Homeland has appointed MNP LLP as the Company's new auditors, replacing McGovern, Hurley, Cunningham LLP ("MHC").

The decision to change auditors was not the result of any disagreement between the Company and MHC on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure.

Homeland Energy Group Ltd. (TSX:HEG) is a coal producer with operations in the Witbank area of South Africa.
