VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 24, 2012) - Carbon Friendly Solutions Inc. (CNSX:CFQ) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has arranged for financing by way of a non-brokered private placement of 5,000,000 Units (the "Units") at a price of CAD$0.30 per Unit, for gross proceeds of up to CAD$1,500,000 million (the "Private Placement").

Each Unit is comprised of one common share of the Company and one common share purchase warrant (the "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the Company at an exercise price of CAD$0.45 per common share for a period of two years from the closing date of the Private Placement. The Company intends to close the Private Placement by January 31, 2012.

The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Private Placement to deploy the first commercial installation of its MicroCoal Technology and for its working capital.
