The CHA Winter Show Draws Hollywood A-listers


ELMWOOD PARK, N.J., Jan. 25, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) is pleased to announce a star-studded line-up of internationally recognized Hollywood celebrities including Tori Spelling, David Tutera, Vanna White, Deborah Norville, Tim Holtz, Mich Turner MBE, and Mark Montano who are all scheduled to attend the CHA 2012 Winter Conference & Trade Show as it returns to the Anaheim Convention Center in Calif., January 29 to February 1.

Tori Spelling, actress, T.V. star and celebrity crafter, recently partnered with Darice Inc., the largest manufacturer and distributor of craft supplies in the U.S. for a do-it-yourself fashion jewelry line, Styled by Tori Spelling. Spelling will make a special appearance at the Darice booth #1901 on January 30 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to debut her new product line.

Wedding and entertaining expert, David Tutera will preview the essential guide for the stylish bride and unveil his new Down the Aisle in Style collection from Darice, live Monday, January 30, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Darice Booth #1901.

Co-host of Wheel of Fortune since 1982, Vanna White, an avid crocheter and best-selling author, has been Lion Brand Yarn's spokesperson for almost two decades. White and her daughter Giovanna will host Lion Brand Yarn's "Yarn is Art" fashion show, January 30 at noon and 1 p.m., in the Lion Brand Yarn booth #1411.

Veteran journalist, Deborah Norville, anchor of Inside Edition, is a best-selling author and avid crafter who has capitalized on her love of fiber arts with The Deborah Norville Collection, a line of fine yarns for hand knitting and crocheting found in major craft stores around the country.  Norville will be appearing at Premier Yarn booth #2901 throughout the day on January 29.

Tim Holtz, creative director for Ranger Industries, plays an integral part in development and design of cutting-edge paper crafting products.  He will be making appearances at the Show on January 29 - 31 at the Sizzix booth #949 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Ranger booth #1338 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and at the Advantus/Idea-ology booth #1348 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Mich Turner MBE, of Little Venice Cake Company and internationally renowned cake decorator to the stars will bring her culinary art from across the pond making live appearances and teaching a master class in the Darice booth # 1901 on Sunday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 31 at 10:30 a.m.

Mark Montano, T.V. host and author of Big Ass Book of Crafts series, among other craft books, will be appearing at Design Originals/ Fox Chapel Publishing booth #1209 on January 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and January 30 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., leading make n' takes from his new book Vision Box Idea Book!  

Dozens of other celebrities, industry notables and bloggers will be out in force at the CHA 2012 Winter Conference & Trade Show.  This event is not open to the general public.
