NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jan 26, 2012) - Arnold Worldwide is pleased to announce that it has named Patricia A. Clifford to the newly created position of Global Chief Talent Officer. In this role, Clifford will be responsible for all aspects of Arnold's human resources functions, as well as partnering with the executive team, to oversee talent management, drive organizational strategy and fuel cultural change. Clifford will serve the dual role of Global Chief Talent Officer at Havas Worldwide, Arnold's parent group. For both positions, she will report to Andrew Benett, Global CEO of Arnold Worldwide and Global Chief Strategy Officer for Havas Worldwide.

Benett commented, "Transforming talent management is a key priority for Arnold and Havas Worldwide. Patti is the ideal person to help us realize our ambition to be the leader in all aspects of talent management as she brings a background and set of experiences in cultural transformation that will help us accelerate the execution of our talent plans. "

Clifford, who officially starts on January 30 and will be based at Arnold Worldwide's New York office, is the former Chief Human Resources Officer of Dun & Bradstreet, which has been included on Fortune's Most Admired list since 2007. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Clifford was a trusted partner to the senior leaders and led a global HR and Internal Communications team of over 100 employees in organizational strategy and cultural change, talent management, compensation and benefits, and communications. An effective and experienced executive, Clifford drove a cultural transformation focused on leadership and performance that led to both improved company results and the achievement of world-class employee engagement and customer satisfaction scores.

Clifford shared, "I'm thrilled to be joining an organization and industry with such a strong commitment to being superior in talent management. I am looking forward to working with the team and I am confident that we will make great progress toward our goals."

Going forward, Havas Worldwide aims to develop a new model for talent management in the industry. Benett has taken on a leadership role in his capacity as Director-at-Large for the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As). He is leading their first-ever Talent Committee and in partnership with the 4As, conducted the industry's largest survey of advertising employees and managers on the topic. In addition, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a high-profile panel of business leaders from some of the world's most recognized multinational companies was assembled for a discussion around best talent management practices.

David Jones, Global CEO of Havas, added, "We want to be the industry leader in attracting, growing and retaining our talent and creating a really innovative work environment. Patti will be a great addition to helping us achieve this and we're thrilled to welcome her."
