Miles & Kelly Nadal Youth Center Opens its Doors in Toronto's Regent Park

$1.8-million gift part of public-private partnership to renovate Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 26, 2012) - Miles and Kelly Nadal today proudly cut the ribbon on the new Miles and Kelly Nadal Youth Centre as part of the re-opening of the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club in Regent Park.

The $1.8-million gift for the Youth Centre expands both the footprint and programming to give teens and young adults increased access and opportunities for involvement in the Regent Park facility. It is part of a $7-million private-public partnership to renovate the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs into a state-of-the-art facility that offers "at-risk" children and youth a safe place to experience new opportunities, build positive relationships and develop confidence.

The Miles and Kelly Nadal Youth Centre focuses on youth empowerment and leadership along with providing access to a wide range of unique activities including a technology centre, recording studio, basketball facility and climbing wall.
