Savannah Pines Hosts Winter Open House

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss., Jan. 26, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Savannah Pines, LLC, will host its Winter Open House on Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to preview five model homes available in the new Savannah Pines subdivision. The event is open to the public and will provide tours of the model homes, information about the subdivision, and activities for prospective homebuyers and families.

The first phase of Savannah Pines will consist of 178 single-family homes available to families of all income levels. A $500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas and The First: A National Banking Association, will help provide first-time homebuyers with down payment and closing cost assistance.

The floor plans vary from three to four bedrooms, and neighborhood amenities will include walking trails, playground, swimming pool, onsite daycare, and convenient access to commercial and retail outlets, sand beaches and downtown Ocean Springs. Savannah Pines is the first long-term workforce housing community in Ocean Springs, and strives to assist in the recovery and rebuilding efforts of the Mississippi Gulf Coast since the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Saturday's open house will include door prizes, music, food, drinks, and activities for the whole family. Attendees can also register to win more than $5,000 in door prizes and raffle drawings.
