Alpcot Agro AB completes the acquisition of Landkom International PLC

Result of the Court Hearing and Approval of the Antimonopoly Commission of
Ukraine.

Alpcot Agro is pleased to announce that the High Court of Justice of Isle of Man
has sanctioned the Scheme and the Antimonopoly Commission of Ukraine has
approved the Acquisition.

All conditions to the Scheme have now been satisfied and the Scheme will become
effective today 27 January 2012.

Joakim Ollén, Chairman of the board of Alpcot Agro, comments:

“We are very excited about the combination of Alpcot Agro and Landkom. This
combination creates a global agricultural company with almost 280,000 hectares
of controlled land across Russia and Ukraine. A number of synergies will lead to
a lower cost structure and improved operational efficiencies in the combined
entity going forward.”

Katre Saard, Director of Alpcot Agro Ukraine, comments:

“We are confident that the acquisition of Landkom is creating value for our
shareholders. We also welcome Landkom’s shareholders to Alpcot Agro, and the
combined group is now one of the largest investors in the Ukrainian farming
sector. Alpcot Agro’s increased focus on Western Ukraine, with its plentiful
rainfall and proximity to the EU, places Alpcot Agro in a favourable position to
benefit from the excellent conditions for farming companies in the region.”
