NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Feb 14, 2012) - Country Living today announced the magazine's 2nd annual 'What's Country Now' honorees, celebrating the people, places, and products revolutionizing what country means today.
The March issue -- on newsstands now -- celebrates the 'What's Country Now' theme, saluting leaders in country-inspired design, lifestyle, fashion and more. The issue includes an exclusive 8-page tour of the Vermont home of Grammy nominated alt-country musician Neko Case. Top chefs, such as Wolfgang Puck and Christina Tosi (of Momofuku Milk Bar), offer up fresh takes on the ultimate comfort-food: the casserole. Actress Parker Posey, fashion designer Lela Rose, chef Tyler Florence, and musicians Jenny Lewis and Scott Avett all weigh in on what "country" means to them.
"Everything this brand has always been about is suddenly trendy," says Editor-in-Chief Sarah Gray Miller. "The March issue really zeros in on the nexus of where country meets cool."
It also honors 25 trailblazers of modern country style: from furniture to fashion, food to technology. Highlights of the 2012 'What's Country Now' list include:
