CHARLOTTE, Mich., Feb. 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spartan Chassis, Inc., a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR), announced it is hosting the Spartan Chassis Sales Training Conference on February 13-15, 2012. The event is attended by both Fire Apparatus Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and their Dealers in the United States and Canada.
During the event, over 150 attendees will be immersed in the Company's category-leading manufacturing process located in Plants three and eight at the Spartan Chassis facility in Charlotte, Mich. To optimize learning, the manufacturing process will be presented in ten Tour Stops at which attendees will be trained by cross-functional teams consisting of Spartan Chassis Associates from engineering, manufacturing and various customer-facing teams. This model will allow the OEM partners and their Dealers to experience the Company's manufacturing practices, technology development, quality systems and the dedicated Spartan Chassis manufacturing teams in action.
