MONTRÉAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Mingus Software Inc. has been granted financial assistance to commercialize its Hotello hospitality management software in Latin America and the United States.

"The Government of Canada has decided to support enterprises that, like Mingus Software, are working to break into new markets with innovative products while creating jobs here in Canada," says Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2001, Mingus Software has designed and developed the Hotello system, a management and marketing software solution that allows establishments in the hospitality industry to maximize their profitability. In pursuing its marketing strategy, the company is harnessing the opportunity to bring its product to Latin America, particularly to the Costa Rican market, and to the United States, primarily to the New England area.

This $128,100 in repayable financial assistance has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program.
